How to Reach Us
Hotel Gardenia al Lago is located on the western shore of Lake Garda, along the famous Gardesana Occidentale road. The final stretch of the drive is incredibly scenic, hugging the coastline right up to Gargnano.
We are conveniently situated between two major airports:
Verona Airport (VRN): Approximately a 1-hour drive.
Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY): Approximately a 1 hour and 15-minute drive.
Please note that travel times may vary during the high summer season. Private on-site parking is available upon arrival (please note that space is limited).
By Plane
Our closest hubs are Verona Villafranca (VRN) and Milan Bergamo (BGY), both just over an hour’s drive away. Milan Linate (LIN) and Malpensa (MXP) are also viable options further afield. We recommend arranging a private transfer for a seamless final leg of your journey.
By Car
From the South (A4 Milan–Venice motorway):
Take the Brescia Est or Desenzano exit, follow signs to Salò, then continue along the scenic Gardesana Occidentale (SS45bis) on the western shore of Lake Garda to Gargnano.
From the North (A22 Brenner motorway):
Exit at Rovereto Sud – Lago di Garda Nord, drive via Riva del Garda and follow the Gardesana Occidentale (SS45bis) south to Gargnano.
By Train
The nearest main railway station is Desenzano del Garda-Sirmione, served by frequent high-speed trains connecting Milan and Venice. From the station, Gargnano is approximately a 50-minute journey by taxi or local bus.
By Bus
The ARRIVA bus network connects Gargnano to key towns along the coast. The main line serving our village is the LN027 (connecting Brescia-Desenzano-Riva del Garda). The bus stop is conveniently located just a short walk from the villa.

By Boat
For a truly breathtaking entrance, arrive by water. The Navigarda public ferry system connects Gargnano with many southern towns like Desenzano. Approaching the villa from the lake offers an unforgettable first perspective of your home away from home.
